Chad C. Hastings

PhotoChad Hastings represents plaintiffs in personal injury and commercial litigation matters. He joined the firm in 2007 and has brought his commitment, experience and passion for helping victims of negligence and commercial fraud. Since joining the firm, Chad has been inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national forum for attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. 

Before joining the firm, Chad worked at a North Miami Beach firm where he developed the firm's plaintiff personal injury, employment, and commercial litigation department from 2003 to 2007. While working with the firm in North Miami Beach, Chad had significant trial experience, handled numerous worker's compensation bench trials and argued cases before the First District Court of Appeal. Chad was successful in establishing a successful practice of law and was able to achieve excellent results for the many plaintiffs and workers’ compensation claimants he represented.

Prior to working in North Miami Beach, Chad was an associate attorney at Gary, Williams, Parenti, Finney, McManus, Watson & Sperando from 2002 to 2003. During his time at Gary, Williams, et. al., Chad represented plaintiffs in personal injury and commercial litigation cases. Chad had significant jury trial exposure and actively participated in securing significant settlements, punitive damage claims and jury awards for plaintiffs.

Chad was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, lived in Woodstock, New York through his childhood and then moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1981, where his family still resides. Chad went to the University of Central Florida, where he received his B.S. in Finance in 1997. While at U.C.F., Chad was actively involved in Student Government as the Comptroller, his fraternity Alpha Tau Omega as the Treasurer, and in numerous philanthropic / community based organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. Chad attended law school at the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University where he earned his J.D. in 2001.

Chad is a member of the Justice B. Major Harding American Inn of Court in Martin County, the Florida Bar Association, and the Georgia Bar Association. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association, American Justice Association and Palm Beach County Justice Association. Chad was recently involved with the Martin County United Way serving on the fundraising cabinet and he serves on the board for Whole Child Connection of Martin County, a charitable organization that is dedicated to connecting children and families in Martin County with social services, medical care, and support in general.

Throughout his career, Chad is proud to have been able to provide many hours of pro bono services to clients and other persons of need in the communities he has worked in. He has dedicated his career primarily to effectively representing injured victims of negligence and commercial fraud.
