Heidi
S. Reiff
Heidi
Reiff was born in Newark New Jersey, and her family moved
to Palm Beach Gardens in 1967. After graduating in the top
of her class from Palm Beach Gardens High School she attended
the University of Florida and graduated in 1985 with a B.S.
degree in Journalism and a minor in Psychology. She graduated
from Nova Southeastern Law School in 1988. While a law student,
she was actively involved in Moot Court and American Trial
Lawyers Association trial competitions.
Heidi
joined the Broward County State Attorney's office as an Assistant
State Attorney in 1988 and quickly gained the title of Supervisor
in the Misdemeanor division, focusing primarily on Driving
under the Influence cases. In addition to being a prosecutor,
Heidi was asked to teach for the statewide Drug Alcohol Traffic
Education Program. She taught classes from 1989 through 1996.
In these classes, she was responsible for educating new drivers
on the rules of the road, alcohol and other drugs, and generally
how to be a safe driver. Heidi found this work to be very
rewarding. As an Assistant State Attorney, Heidi worked her
way up the ranks, prosecuting over 150 jury trials, from
misdemeanors to murder.
When
she left the State Attorney''s office in 1993, she held the
position of Lead Prosecutor in the Felony Division. In 1993,
Heidi began a strong and steady career as a trial attorney
for Allstate Insurance Company. She represented not only
Allstate, but also those individuals and businesses that
were insured by the company. As an employee of Allstate Insurance
Company, Heidi gained valuable experience working within
the insurance industry. Through her work experience, she
gained insight into how an insurance company evaluates and
defends against claims. She held this employment for 12 years,
during which time she litigated fairly, yet vigorously for
her clients, often obtaining optimal results. During her
employment with Allstate, she tried over 100 personal injury
jury trials.
As
a result of her hard work and dedication to excellence, she
was the recipient winner of Allstate''s Individual Service
Award in 1999, 2000 and 2002. It is this experience and knowledge
that will now allow her to obtain maximum benefits for her
injured clients. Heidi is a member in good standing of the
Florida Bar. She was appointed to the Florida Bar Committee
on Professionalism in 1995 and served her term faithfully
through 1998. In 1996 she was also asked to serve as Chair
of Broward County Bar Association''s new Social and Sports
committee. Since relocating back to Palm Beach County in
2000, she has continued to be a member in good standing of
the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Heidi gets the best
result for her clients without compromising her high standard
of professionalism and ethics. Her extensive trial experience,
especially as a defense attorney for a major insurance company,
makes her a valuable asset to any injured client she has
the pleasure of representing. She expects to use her experience,
skills and compassion to work hard for those who entrust
her to do so.
