Is Your Driver's License Going To Be Suspended?

When a person is arrested for DUI and refuses to take a breath, blood, and/or urine test, or his test results were 0.08 percent or more, he only has 10 days to request a special hearing with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to save his driver's license from suspension. If this special hearing is not requested, a person’s driver's license may be suspended anywhere from six to 18 months.
