P. Lesser
Shepard
P. Lesser was born in West Palm Beach in 1935. After graduating
from Palm Beach High in 1953, Shep went on to the University
of Florida, where he graduated with honors with a B.A. in
Political Science in 1957. He then attended University of
Florida School of Law, graduating in 1960 as a member of
Phi Beta Kappa among other honors. He began practicing law
with his father Joseph Lesser immediately after being admitted
to the Florida Bar.
Shep
continued the firm's tradition of community involvement. Over
the years, he has served as the Vice President of the Gulfstream
Council of Boy Scouts of America, President of the Family Services
Agency, and was also the President of the local B'nai Brith Chapter.
Shep was also very involved with many other organizations including
but not limited to Temple Israel, and the Jewish Federation of
Palm Beach County. Additionally, Shep has been Chairman and a
long standing member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association's
Speaker's Bureau and frequently lectures on real estate, estate
planning and a number of other legal topics.
Shepard
Lesser is presently the firm's Senior Partner and handles
all of the firm's transactional matters. He concentrates
his practice in Real Estate, Probate, Wills and Trusts and
Elder Law. He also handles contract/document preparation
and review, condominium law and general corporate matters.
