Attorney Joins Fishing Buddies To Bring Relief
On Saturday four private boats transport 8000 pounds of water, food, first aid, and generators to Foxtown on Little Abaco. The residence of Foxtown were subjected to 30 hours of intense category 5 storm conditions and have been without power or water for a week. We visit Foxtown at least once a year for spearfishing trips, they welcomed us and the donations. We also met with a Royal Army officer named Jamie. He had arrived the evening before and their ship was anchored offshore. They were bringing in a load of supplies that afternoon.
working to build bridges to reconnect them and get supplies flowing from Treasure Cay and Marsh Harbor. The neighboring settlement of Crown Haven has also been severely damaged and will benefit from the supplies and aid. Both areas hope to get mobile generators running to get some power restored so they can start rebuilding their homes. They do not expect to have the main power re-established for a year.
