AWARD NOMINATION – PROMINENT WPB ATTORNEY RECEIVES JUDGE EDWARD RODGERS DIVERSITY AWARD

WHAT: 6th ANNUAL JUDGE EDWARD RODGERS DIVERSITY AWARD
WHEN: March 10th 2017
WHY: The award recognizes Mr. Lesser commitment and dedication in supporting those from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. In his 25 years as an attorney at Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, he has worked with various legal organizations such as Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Legal Aid of Palm beach County and the Palm Beach County Diversity Internship Program to help promote the equality of those underrepresented in the legal profession. Outside of the legal field, he has been committed to helping those in need in his community. Through support, sponsorship and committee involvement he has helped numerous organizations in serving those who are most in need. Some of the organizations he has supported are Healthy Mother’s Healthy Babies, Salvation Army, A Lord’s Place and Anti-Defamation League.

The award is given to an individual or organization who shows a commitment to diversity as reflected in its recruitment, retention, and promotion of diverse individuals. The award also recognizes those committed to the local diversity programs, its efforts to foster an inclusive and equitable work environment, and its participation in community outreach and engagement efforts designed to help those of diverse backgrounds.
