I was a passenger in a car that was in an accident, does the driver’s insurance cover my injuries?

View More FAQ Videos

Speaker 1: It can, it depends upon the facts. If the driver of the car caused the accident you can make a claim against the driver’s bodily injury coverage. If the driver of another car caused the accident and doesn’t have enough insurance you can make a claim under the owner of the car you were in’s uninsured motorist coverage as well as your own uninsured motorist coverage.
