Lesser Law Firm obtains seven-figure settlement after car crashes into man’s home, pins him underneath it
Imagine sitting at your desk in your home office and a car comes crashing through the wall, pinning you underneath it.
That’s exactly what happened to Gary Schweikhart in July 2022 at his home in suburban Boca Raton. Several of Schweikhart’s friends told him to immediately call Gary Lesser. Within a few months, he and firm partner Mickey Smith obtained a confidential, seven-figure settlement at mediation.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported the driver who crashed into Schweikhart’s home was going at least 60 miles-per-hour in a 30 mph zone when he lost control and drove through a berm, about six feet of bushes and then into the house. A neighbor called 911 and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews pulled Schweikhart from the rubble. He was taken to the hospital where he spent time in ICU.
