The Firm Welcomes Partner Steve Clarfield

The Firm is pleased to announce that attorney Steven “Steve” Clarfield has joined the Firm. With almost 28 years of legal experience, Steve will be working primarily out of our Boca Raton office and will be handling cases throughout Florida. Steve – like many of the attorneys at the firm – has extensive prior experience working for insurance companies, having been the Managing Attorney of a major insurance company staff counsel office, handling personal injury litigation at a private defense firm for many years. Steve then went on to work a prominent West Palm Beach law firm, where he handled complex personal injury cases, wrongful death, and product liability cases.

In 2008, Steve founded what started as a “solo practice” focusing on litigation for insurance companies, which quickly expanded into commercial litigation representing mortgage loan servicing companies and grew into a multi-state practice with hundreds of employees. In 2018, Steve redeemed his interests in that practice after which he obtained Florida Supreme Court Certification as a Circuit Court Mediator.

“Steve is a major addition to our team, and he has an impressive track record of practicing law for the past 28 years,” said Managing Partner Gary Lesser. “His experience and keen insight gained from his many years handling insurance defense matters as well as handling plaintiff’s personal injury cases will be of great benefit for our clients.”

Steve will handle cases all over Florida and concentrate his practice in personal injury, wrongful death litigation, and product liability cases including automobile liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability.
