What type of evidence will I need to prove my Florida nursing home abuse case?

View More FAQ Videos

Transcript

In Florida nursing home abuse cases there’s usually a multitude of types of evidence. It’s very fact specific to each case. The most common piece of evidence used is the nursing home chart itself. We go through the evidence, the nursing home chart, and find all the inconsistencies in the records, which are usually plenty. If it is a bed sore case, we also look to have photographs of the wound itself. If it’s a malnutrition case, we take a look at the weights in the weighing chart to show the loss of body mass. If it’s dehydration case, we take a look at the blood work and other symptoms of dehydration.
